Joining in this week for Ginny's yarn along. I have had a short attention span for reading lately on both the blog and books but I have been browsing and carrying around the house these two book I got for my birthday.
Finally I have something new on the knitting needles. I have been dying to make something from this book but was quite frustrated with my lack of knitting skills. My solution sign up for a knitting class on Saturdays. I time and place just for me with other moms.
Don't know what I'll do after the knitting class is done but right now I'm hoping this sweater doesn't turn out wonky :)

oh can't wait for my copy of Soulemama's new book to arrive, you lucky thing, other one looks fab too
great colour yarn and fab pattern xx
I'm knitting with a similar color right now. A small baby vest so I suspect I'll be done soon (love the instant gratification of baby knits). How do you like Playful Learning? Amazon keeps recommending it to me but I can't decide.
I have that book! What pattern are you knitting? Gorgeous yarn!!
nocton4-Soulemama's book is great very inspiring I have only been browsing through it.
Angie-Sometimes we need something small to get satisfaction for completing a project. I have just been browsing Playful Learning and I had bought it because of Amazon and later on saw it on the blogs it's worth it. I really like it and it's worth the investment.
Swanski-Thanks :) I'm working on the sweater on the front cover. I really like the pattern so far. After this I have my eye on the bag page 33 and vest page 137.
Many good books in this post! I saw the New England Knits book on my last trip to my LYS and began to covet...
