Love this! How old were your little ones when you first taught them.

We've all been learning to knit since last August. The kids (ages 5-9) started crochetting about a year or two ago. The toddlers have been learning to fingerknit (got that idea from Creative Family). It's a calm and easy to take along and fun for any age because the younger ones are still figuring it out.
My step-daughter is wanting to learn to knit. I tried last year and she was easily bored. So, we are going to try again this year. I think she'll will get it. And if not...she'll fall back onto cross-stitching, as she picked up her project she was working on last year. She's such a sweetheart! Knitting is going to be fun...and what a great idea to enjoy doing that with her outdoors! :)
